But when I installing was failed hik….hik….error message appears (please check the CD/DVD bla….bla..bla….). I don’t understand because in live-cd is no problem and I check the MD5 is same. OK…..I burn again and…..eeeerrrrggggggggg same error message appears….Next day I download Ubuntu 8.10 ….. I check the MD5 is same…I burning and….wuaaaaaahhhhhh s**k same error message appears. Its make me stuck hhhuuuaaaa….. What wrong….I confused because my friend using my cd-burning can complete installation…..wwaagggggggghhhh…..what wrong….with my computer. I must to think a quietly.

I check my computer. Hm…..hm……ups….my processor is AMD but I don’t know is AMD 32 bit or 64 bit. My motherboard is ECS K8M800-M2 and processor AMD Sempron 2600+. I searching and founded that the socket is 754 for AMD AthlonTM 64/SempronTM processor. Ow….my motherboard can support 32 & 64 bit, it can be I must using Ubuntu 8.04 or 8.10 AMD64. Next day I download Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64. After finish I check the MD5 is same and burn it. But what I get is………….whuaaaaaaa sssiiiitttttt…..same error message appears (please check the CD/DVD bla….bla..bla….). It does really make me frustration and stuck. I leave it four days.

OK…forget Ubuntu distro, I must change distro. I thinking…..what a good distro for me hm…..hm….. oww…I have Debian 4 “Etch” in my old collection. I install that distro and waw…..was completed. I’m very happy; finally I can install Linux to my computer. I don’t understand why it can be installed because its 32bit, what wrong with Ubuntu….forget it. I thinking…..it can be installed Debian 4 “Etch” AMD64??? Hm….hm…. next day I searching in internet (of course use google ^_^) and founded that in my place have sell that distro, you can see in http://www.warunglinux.com. I went to the place and order Debian 4 “Etch” AMD64. Next day I get my order (3 DVD) and installing in my computer…..wow……install completed……amazing……my computer can install Debian “Etch” 32 & 64 bit. And I use it about three days because Debian has release Debian 5 “Lenny”, I must try it ^_^ I open site http://www.warunglinux.com and this site doesn’t have. For that, I must download this new release Debian 5 “Lenny”. I download via local mirror (http://kambing.ui.edu) debian-500-amd64-CD-1.iso and MD5SUMS for check my download. After finish downloading, I check the MD5 of debian-500-amd64-CD-1.iso is same. I burn it and installing completed in my computer, but have problem with my screen resolution because only have 800×600. I found the solution; I edit xorg.conf Debian 5 “Lenny” AMD64 by looking xorg.conf Debian 4 “Etch” AMD64.

xorg

Two days ago, I download debian-500-amd64-CD-2.iso and check the MD5 of debian-500-amd64-CD-2.iso is same. I burn it and add to Debian 5 “Lenny” AMD64 repository in my computer. And now I finish downloading debian-500-amd64-CD-3.iso then check the MD5 of debian-500-amd64-CD-2.iso is same and burn it.
